    Psalm 100 NKJV

1  Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! [I will raise my voice in praise to You, because no
matter where I am, You are worthy to be praised.]

2  Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. [I will serve others with
gladness, because that which I have done to the least of these, I have done unto You (Matt. 25:37-40).  I
will do all things as unto You.  Then, my gladness will turn into singing, because the songs I sing reflect
my inner emotions.  I welcome Your presence with singing.]

3  Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His
people and the sheep of His pasture.  [This one thing, I know:  I am so grateful that You are God, and I
am not.  The world was created for Your purposes, and not my own.  I am just one sheep in Your great
pasture, yet You are still mindful of me (Ps 8:4-5).]

4  Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.  Be thankful to Him,
and bless His name.  [Offering praise and thanksgivings unto Your name is my passport into Your
presence.  I won't leave home without it.  Wherever I go, I want to be within Your gates and welcome in
Your courts.  There, I find peace and comfort (2 Cor 1:3-4).  I am forever thankful for the love You have
    shown me.]

5  For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.  [Your
record proves Your goodness and Your everlasting mercy.  The truth of Your Word has been echoed
from the beginning of time.  Your yes has been yes, and Your no has been no.  None other has or can
keep their promises like You.  Praise be the Lord!]

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,

    Scripture References NKJV

Matt. 25:37-40  37  "Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You
hungry and feed You, or thirst and give You drink?  38  When did we see You a stranger and
take You in, or naked and clothe You?  39  Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come
to You?'  40 And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as
you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.'"

Ps 8:4-5  4  What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?  5
For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and
    honor.

2 Cor. 1:3-4  3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies
and God of all comfort,  4  who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort
those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
