Psalm 65 (New Century Version) 1 God, You will be praised in Jerusalem. We will keep our promises to You. (Lord, You will be praised in America! I will honor and worship You. America promised that "IN GOD WE TRUST", and I will help by keeping that promise.) 2 You hear our prayers. All people will come to You. (Thank You for hearing my prayers. Your word says, "every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that You are Lord. Because of this I can safely say that all people will come to You. *Rom 14:11) 3 Our guilt overwhelms us, but You forgive our sins. (When I come, I know that you forgive sins. No matter how burdened I am by guilt, I can always come to You. And when America comes to You, I know that You will also forgive her sins.) 4 Happy are the people You choose and invite to stay in Your court. We are filled with good things in Your house, Your holy Temple. (Thank You for inviting me to abide in You. As I live in you, good things are promised to me. *Jn 15:4, 7) 5 You answer us in amazing ways, God our Savior. People everywhere on earth and beyond the sea trust You. (When I pray, I have faith that You will answer, however, I am always amazed when You do. Your ways are so far above my ways that Your timeliness often catches me by surprise. This is why people all over the earth trust You.) 6 You made the mountains by Your strength; You are dressed in power. (Not even the mountains can compare to Your strength, because You are their maker. You are clothed with power and majesty.) 7 You stopped the roaring seas, the roaring waves, and the uproar of the nations. (By Your command do the seas roar and beat against the sands. They can only go as high as You allow them to go. And they must stop the moment You give the order. No nation can overpower You, for they are also in Your hand. When You speak Peace, there will be peace. Therefore, I know that I am safe in you. *Mk 4: 39) 8 Even those people at the ends of the earth fear Your miracles. You are praised from where the sun rises to where it sets. (All over the earth, Your name is revered. From the North pole to the South, You receive praise.) 9 You take care of the land and water it; You make it very fertile. The rivers of God are full of water. Grain grows because You make it grow. (You take care of the things I take for granted. You allow me to sow where I have not reaped.) 10 You send rain to the plowed fields; You fill the rows with water. You soften the ground with rain, and then You bless it with crops. (You supply me with everything I need, even when I don't know what I need. Nothing is to big or small of a task for You.) 11 You give the year a good harvest, and You load the wagons with many crops. (You provide me with food and shelter all year long.) 12 The desert is covered with grass and hills with happiness. (You make the desert places in my life look pleasant.) 13 The pastures are full of flocks, and valleys are covered with grain. Everything shouts and sings for joy. (You give me good success on my job, and provide ways for me to build my strength in times of failure. My life shouts and sings for joy. The unspeakable joy that man cannot take from me.) [*1Peter 1:8] I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis. John 15:4, 7 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. Mark 4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, "Peace, be still!" And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 1 Peter 1:8-9 Whom having not seen you love.
