What's Mine
Oct. 12, 2005
    Today's Topic is What's Mine?

Acts 20:32 NKJV  “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace,
which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified."

Have you ever been ripped off (or at least felt like it)?  Maybe you didn't get all of your food from a fast
food restaurant or you made a major purchase for what you thought was a good deal only to find out later
that it wasn't.  Or how about a warranty that wasn't even worth the paper it was written on.

Well, many of us are getting ripped off every day in our relationship with God and we have to admit that
it's our own fault.  We easily become accustomed to the world's misconceptions, because we don't know
enough to dispute them.  For example, how long did it take for us to believe that $2.87/gal for gas was a
    good price?  (Something to ponder.)

We have to take the time to read the Word of God and find out what we are really entitled to as children
of the Living God so that we can claim it on a daily basis.  Otherwise, Satan will continue to take
    advantage of us.

Think about it:  If your bank account was overflowing with money would you allow your family to live in a
house without running water or working electricity?  NO!  That would be foolish!  So why deny yourself
necessities and luxuries that God promises to provide for us if we just seek Him first.  God has promised
to give us peace, love, prosperity, hope, a future, and much more!  Do you know what's yours?  It's time
    to find out.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Min. Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray
