Malachi 3:1 NKJV “Behold, I send My messenger,And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming,” Says the LORD of hosts. Do our actions each day lead people toward God or away? What kind of impression would a nonbeliever draw about God from watching our behavior on a daily basis? Would it be flattering or one of total disgust? We have been called to prepare the way of the Lord through our every day actions so the very things that we say and do either draw people toward God or away. Regardless of our intentions, the decisions that we make plow a path for others to follow and that path needs to lead them directly to our Savior, Jesus Christ. As we strive to walk according to the words of the Bible we will receive a better understanding of the direction we should go and the parts of our lives that we need to clean up to make ourselves better leaders. God needs us to prepare the way for His return. How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom. 10:14 NKJV We need to step into our positions and answer the call. We also need to take a closer look at the path we are plowing and make sure it is heading in the right direction. The world is depending on us to show them the way. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray |
