Prov. 18:10 NKJV The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe. Imagine standing in the middle of the street and all of a sudden a crowd of people rush toward you, shouting and hurling stones directly at your head. You look to the left and there is a dead-end alleyway. If you run in that direction, you will be trapped. So you look to the right and you see a huge, brick tower with people in it that are signaling to you to come in. Which would you choose? The trials of life can sometimes bombard us and make us feel as if we have nowhere to run. But God is our strong tower. He is our place of refuge. We can run to Him and receive protection. Why should we stand in the middle of the street and continue to get beat up when God's strong tower is readily available to us? Whenever we feel like we can't take it anymore, we should run to our strong tower. Whenever we feel like everyone is out to get us, we should hide behind the walls of our strong tower. If it is peace that we need, we can find it there. If we're looking for security, we can find it there. If we just need solitude, we find it there. The doors of God's strong tower are always unlocked. So don't just stand there-Run! I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Min. Tommy & Sis.
