Hag. 2:9 KJV The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts. Sometimes our life may feel like a game show. Sometimes we can figure out all the answers to the puzzle and sometimes we struggle just buying a vowel. Sometimes we're dealt a good hand and well sometimes, not so good. It may even appear that we are spinning the wheel of misfortune or that we are not smarter than a 5th grader after all. But the important thing to remember is that this trial that we are going through is only temporary and our day will come. It doesn't matter what cards we are holding, or how many times the wheel lands on bankrupt, God has already determined that we win! We could be experiencing the worst losing streak of our life and having a hard time getting off of the contestants' row but God has it written in stone that we will be victorious! Our latter will be greater than our past so we can rejoice because we know that one day this too shall pass! So let's stop walking around with our heads hanging low, because we are only giving joy to the one down below. Instead let's stop and thank God that He doesn't deny us from getting into Heaven every time that we forget to answer in the form of question ("Uh, What is Jesus Christ?") or when we are unable to guess the right price. No, friends, there is just one thing that He requires for us to do, and that is to believe that He died for me and you. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Minister Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray |
