Practical Wisdom-Proverbs
Mar. 7, 2007
    Today's Topic is Practical Wisdom-Proverbs

God's Word instructs us to stay away from the fool, for he doesn't desire to learn.  The fool wasn't born
stupid, but he refuses to accept correction and learn Godly wisdom.

Here are some practical pointers to apply to your life so that you may know the difference between a
    wise person and a fool.

    1.  The fool never wants to listen. Prov 12:15
    2.  The fool hates correction. Prov 12:15
    3.  Fools talk entirely too much, often getting his/her own self caught up. Prov 11:13
    4.  The wise speak at the right time using the right words for the current situation. Prov 11:12
    5.  The wise guard their heart.  They don't entrust all they know to people.  They still realize and
understand that God is their comforter. Prov 2:7
    6.  The wise see all situations from God's point of view.  They trust God to show them how to learn from it
and see it through His eyes, and use it to their benefit. Prov 3:5

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!
