Credit Terms
July 2, 2008
    Today's Topic is Credit Terms

Rom 11:29 NLT  For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.

Have you ever noticed that whenever a creditor offers credit there are always conditions attached?  These conditions usually state
the outcome of making late payments or failure to comply.  They may also include a clause that gives them the right to raise prices
or instate fees.  But the bottom line is that if the item is not fully paid for by the agreed date, they have the right to regain possession
of that item whether it is a house, car, furniture, etc.

Aren't you glad that God doesn't work that way?  He doesn't hover over us waiting for us to mess up so that he can take back the gifts
and callings that he has given us.  Instead, He waits patiently for us and encourages us to reach our full potential.  And because He
knows that the debt we owe him is too large for us to handle, He paid it off himself so that we wouldn't have to worry about the devil
trying to come and collect or reminding us of how much we owe.

So the weight is lifted!  We can praise God because He is good rather than feeling like we are enslaved by Him.  We can praise Him
because He is worthy instead of praising because its in the contract.  And unlike credit terms, it is never too late to make a payment
in our account with God.  We can pay Him by praising, dancing, singing, winning souls, and being obedient to His word.  Just by
telling someone about the goodness of God can inspire the Lord to increase our credit limit!  So what are you waiting for?  If you
haven't already, open an account with God today!   Jesus and the Holy Spirit are standing by.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Minister Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray
