say "Nobody knows what I'm dealing with." First, let's be reminded that God cares, and God knows. Even if no one else cares, and even if no one else knows, God knows and He cares, that is more than enough. Peter tells us plainly to cast all of our cares upon him, because he cares. Notice what Peter did not say, he did not say cast some of our cares, or most of our cares, or even almost all of our cares. Peter said cast all. There are reasons why Peter told us to cast all our cares on him. Let us look at a few examples: 1. God created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day he rested, and God did all of that without any help from us. 2. He gives light to the sun. 3. He gives light to the moon. 4. He is the Father of the rain. 5. He catches the wind with his bare hands. 6. He knows exactly how many stars there are in the galaxy. Since he has all of this under control, do you think that it is remotely possible that he is able to handle your cares? I believe he can, and I believe he will. PRAYER OF THE WEEK -Lord, help me to understand that you are big enough to handle all of my problems, no matter what. I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Elder Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray |
