Bridge Over Troubled Water
Apr. 29, 2009
Ps 20:7 NKJV 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Water can be easily manipulated or troubled.  Troubled meaning disturbed or disrupted.  For example, a glass of water is
unsurprisingly distressed by vibrations; a stream of water is effortlessly rippled by skipping rocks, and the ocean is continuously
aggravated by the pull of the moon.  Water can take the form of whatever container it happens to be in and can change form with
rising and falling temperatures.  In other words, it doesn't take much to cause a reaction in water.  Likewise, life can be just as
easily troubled by outside circumstances.  Life can change from one second to the next and it doesn't take much to create a chain
reaction that can sometimes seem impossible to stop.

Has this ever happened to you?  Have you ever felt like you were in hot water?  Are there times when the ground around you feels
shaky?  Are you currently experiencing the effects of a chain reaction?

These are the times when we need to trust God the most.  He is a bridge over troubled water.  He is capable of making shaky
ground feel solid again.  He knows exactly what is needed to help us cross safely to the other side of our situation.  There is no
situation too fierce or out of control that God can't calm or help us cross safely through.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Elder Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray
