Making A Difference
Jun. 24, 2009
Matt. 5:13 NKJV You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing
but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

Just like salt brings flavor to food, believers can bring healing to a dying world.  Just as light brightens up a dark room, so can a
believer bring light into a dark situation, and just as medicine can bring healing to a sick body, so can a believer give healing to the
    broken-hearted.

It is clear that believers are to make a difference in the world.  God did not place believers here on earth just to live and take up air.
He put us here to make a difference for him and to bring others to him, so that they can also make a difference in the lives of others.
Christians should let their good works and godly attitude shine for all  to see. Not so that they can get a reward from man, but so that
their heavenly father can be honored.

Let's dedicate this week to making a difference in the lives of others.  For only God knows just how much others need what you have
    to give.

    PRAYER OF THE WEEK
-Lord, teach me to live by your commands, so that I may lead others to you.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Elder Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray
