you may obtain it. 25 And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. We can learn a lot from a game. For instance, there are winners and losers. The difference between most winners and losers are the choices that were made throughout the duration of the game. Most winners are very meticulous about their gaming decisions. They understand that some moves render better results than others calculating a higher score. Does that mean that a low scoring move was a bad move? Not necessarily, because at least we are still scoring, however, if we had sought God, we could of made an even better choice than the one we made. That is why it is good to know that winners also learn from their mistakes and work to correct them in future matches. Winners know that one bad decision could cost them the game no matter how well they played in the beginning because every decision has a consequence. The good news, on the other hand, is that the way the game began doesn't necessarily determine the way it will end. We may be losing at the start of the game, but due to the choices we make throughout, we can still come out on top as winners. That is why, to be a winner, we must have stamina to finish strong. The same can be said about living a godly life. Every choice we make on a daily basis can determine is we move forward or have to slide three steps back. It is also very important to read the rule book (Bible) so that we know how the game is played. It also tells us about our opponent and how to obtain the highest score. Just remember that in most games, there is a time limit and if we hesitate too long then our time will run out. We can learn a lot from a game. Play the game wisely, and in Heaven you shall see your reward. I hope you enjoyed reading the Word of God in a new light. Have a Happy Wednesday! God Bless, Elder Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray |
