For Best Results

1 Cor. 6:18-20 NKJV 18 Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual
immorality sins against his own body. 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom
you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your
    spirit, which are God’s.

Ever notice that almost everything we use comes with an instruction label?  Some directions even state "For Best Results..."  As
opposed to what?  Does anyone ever choose to get the worst results?  Why would we choose to have something less?  Well, most
of us wouldn't but for some reason the inventors feel that it is important to provide us with the instructions.  Probably because the
inventor intend for the product to be used a certain way and without the directions we will either misuse, disfigure or completely
render the product inoperable.  And without the instructions, the inventor may also fear that we will never be able to assemble the
product the way that it was envisioned.

The same can be said for our bodies.  In the Bible, God instructs us to flee sexual immorality and instead use our bodies to glorify
Him.  The reason for this is not to ruin our fun.  God wants us to prosper and enjoy life, so He would never forbid us to do something
unless it were harmful.  So the next time the occasion arises where we are tempted to do something that the Lord has instructed us
against, just remember that instructions are given for a reason and that the best way to live life is to follow the life directions given by
the creator that state "For Best Results..."  (Hint: Those directions can only be found in the Bible.)

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!
