Peace In The Storm Pt. 2
Feb. 11, 2009
    Job 1:20-21 NKJV 20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he
    said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away;
    Blessed be the name of the LORD.”

    The last thing that Satan expects us to do is praise God after we have fallen flat on our face.  To do this is a psychological effect on
    the enemy simply because he does not expect the believer to respond in such a manner.  Regardless of the mistake, the situation,
    the circumstance, or the sin, once we repent and receive God's forgiveness, we ought to praise God.  Simply because his mercy
    endureth forever, his grace is unlimited, and his love is deeper than any ocean, higher than any mountain, and wider than the entire
    Universe.

    When Job lost all that he had, he fell to the ground and worshiped the Lord.  This did not mean that Job was not hurt or grieved, but
    Job knew that everything he had came from the Lord, and it was up to the Lord if he would gain back all that he had lost.
    Regardless of the issues and mistakes in our lives, our response should be to worship.  When we fix ourselves to do this, then and
    only then will we experience the peace that surpasses all understanding, allowing us to have peace in the storm.

    SCRIPTURE OF THE WEEK
    Lamentations 5:19- You, O Lord, remain forever; Your throne from generation to generation.

    I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!
