The Strength To Keep Going
May 6, 2009
Is 40:29 NKJV He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength.

It can be difficult to keep going when you have been fighting for a breakthrough, and yet things continue to stay the same.  Life is not
only filled with many twists and turns, but often times we are faced with the temptation to give up and throw in the towel.  Sometimes
it seems easier to give up and go back into the world than to keep holding on.

God knows that we get weak and at times, want to faint.  But regardless of how bleak the future may look, or how hopeless the
future may seem, God desires that we keep going, but that we do it in his strength.

In the book of Isaiah, the prophet reminds us that all get tired and weary at times, even the young in heart and spirit sometimes feel
like they want to faint and give in.  But, we are reminded that as long as we depend on God for his strength, he will give us exactly
what we need for the given circumstance.  God will give us the strength to keep going as we learn to wait and look to him.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Elder Tommy and Sister Shatika Gray
