Forgiving Yourself
Oct. 24, 2007

    Today's Topic is Forgiving Yourself

Lam. 3:22-23 NKJV  22 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because His
compassions fail not.  23 They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.

One problem that believers have today is accepting forgiveness.  Not so much forgiveness from God,
but forgiving themselves.  God requires that we confess our sins to Him, accept his forgiveness, forgive
ourselves, make right any wrongs, and move on.

Often times many believers have trouble forgiving themselves because they fail to remember that "big"
sins and "little" sins are the same in God's eyes.  God forgives the murderer the same as he forgives the
liar.  The consequences may be different, but to God it's still sin and he offers forgiveness and
deliverance from it all.  But it is the goal of Satan to deceive believers into thinking that he or she doesn't
    deserve to be forgiven.

God wants his children to move on so he can bless them with what he has in store for them.  God will
help and show you how to forgive yourself, but first it starts with Him.

I hope you enjoyed reading the word of God in a new light.  Have a Happy Wednesday!

    God Bless,
Minister Tommy & Sis. Shatika Gray
